SST-IBS-SLC
|
The SST INTERBUS SLC 500 scanner
connects a SLC 5/03 or higher processor to INTERBUS
I/O.
Specifications
- Uses Generation 4(G4) INTERBUS firmware
- Uses INTERBUS PCP V4.0
- Serial port support CMD (Configure, Monitor, Diagnostics) for G4 INTERBUS features
- Fast, easy set up into SLC backplane, INTERBUS I/O is easily mapped into the SLC processor's I, O, M0 and M1 files
- Supports one asynchronous scan and two synchronous bus scan modes
- The SLC processor logic scan can be run asynchronous to the INTERBUS scan, or it can be synchronized. In asynchronous mode, the SLC accesses data whenever necessary, and the bus runs either as fast as possible or at a fixed scan rate. In synchronous mode, each bus scan is initiated to execute in parallel with the SLC processing scan.
- Support for the following:
- 256 remote bus slave-devices
- 256 local bus devices
- 16 remote bus levels in tree topology
- 62 PCP 4.0 slaves
- Scans 4096 I/O
