The SST DeviceNet interface card connects your
VME bus computer to DeviceNet.
Due to component discontinuances, this
product has been placed on One Year
Allocation status and will be discontinued by
the fall of 2002. This means that by September
14, 2001, customers must submit a forecast of
their remaining demand.

The following can be connected to DeviceNet
using the SST VME interface card:
- VME based programmable controllers
- VME based motion controllers
- VME based computers

explicit connections supported
- Simultaneous execution of Group 2 Client and Server operation
- All DeviceNet standard baud rates supported:
125, 250, and 500 Kbaud
- Full implementation with Change of State and explicit messaging
- Compliance is ensured at card
level for I/O scanner and device applications
- Open memory map interface simplifies custom
driver development and eliminates language compiler/operating system dependency
CustomDriver Development
The DeviceNet VME card interfaces with the host
processor through shared memory. A documented
host memory interface is provided and the card
does not require external libraries, which simplifies
customdriver development in your chosen
operating system. DOS example programs with C
source are included with each card to assist you with
your software development.
